The Hodgson Law Scholarships were established after the death of Elizabeth Hodgson pursuant to the Hodgson Will Trust.

The Hodgson Trustees set up a scheme to select Hodgson Law Scholars via a Selection Committee. The committee chooses one Hodgson Law Scholar each year from LLM applicants.
